Share your data using Manual file upload

Learn how sharing your data using Manual file upload works and what you need to do to prepare

If your software doesn't support Data streaming or Intelligent upload, you can still share your data by uploading files directly during the connection flow.

Supported files

You can upload up to 20 files at a time. These can be PDFs, spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX, CSV), Word documents, or images, each up to 10 MB in size.

Prepare to upload

Review these tips before starting your connection journey to help things run as smoothly as possible:

  1. Make sure you are logged into the correct company in your software. If your organization includes multiple entities, check that you are authorized to access their data.

  2. You will need to run and download reports that contain the information summarized in the table below. Check that you know which reports to run and that you have the necessary permissions to do so.

We also advise to include only active suppliers and exclude voided payments and bills when running reports.

    ReportFields needed
BillsBill date, bill amount, due date, date paid
SuppliersSupplier name, supplier ID, address, account details, payment terms
PaymentsSupplier name, supplier ID, payment date, payment amount, payment type (e.g. check, EFT), related invoice numbers
  3. You will be sharing data from the last fiscal year unless agreed otherwise. Check that you know how to apply the required filters.

  4. Some accounting software can be slower than others, especially during high-usage periods, such as payroll runs. We recommend choosing a quieter time of day to download the reports.
